We invite you to be part of this incredible project. With your assistance and the support of corporate sponsorship, private donations and grants from different levels of government, we are creating the World's Largest Scallop Shell, in Digby, because Digby is the "Scallop Capital of the World"

How Large Will It Be?
The shell will be

15 ft / 4.6m tall and
-
16 ft/ 4.9m wide
The base will be 5 ft / 1.4 m wide
What Will It Be Made Of?
The shell will be made of recycled PET (think pop bottles).
Construction will be a true community effort, with all design, machining, coating, painting, installation and landscaping all accomplished by local companies and artists.
